A brand new print to made590, Ray’s Galaxy pays homage to Ray Eames and our love for mid century design. This limited edition screen print is designed in Sydney by Kirbee Lawler exclusively for made590. We worked with the best local screen printers; Publisher Textiles, choosing four unique seasonal colour ways to create Ray’s Galaxy, a textured starburst design which comes as a large all-over print with mid century boxes behind, and as the original galaxy print itself, a small scale busy pattern which can be worn with other prints. We chose metallics like copper and rose gold to highlight the beautiful colour ways and reflect the mid century feel. We hope you love this new print of ours as much as we enjoyed creating it for you!

Our new Longer Patsy Skirt is a gorgeous addition to the made590 family! If you love the Bonnie Skirt then this will be right up for alley, especially if you like a mid length skirt with some movement! This skirt is part of our very special Golden Apple range which range brings together our most special and favourite fabrics with gorgeous new styles.
The Patsy Skirt is one of our fullest shapes which sits below the knee in this longer length. Our long Patsy is 10cm longer than our usual Patsy shape. Perfect for people who don’t like showing their knees. With a fitted waistband and similar sizing to the Bonnie Skirt, the Pasty also has practical side hidden pockets! We love patsy because of her 1950s style, her practical and versatile length and her gorgeous flowy lyocell & cupro base fabric. This skirt is a lovely swishy shape with lots of movement, but not too much fullness due to the flat pleating at the front. Works best sitting high or mid waist. As with all our gathered and pleated skirts, the fullness and detailing is at the front and back but not the sides, which means you won’t feel wider or have an unflattering silhouette on your hips no matter the fabric weight.
The Patsy Skirt is a great every day skirt to wear out to dinner or even to the office. This fabric has a lovely matte finish and feel similar to rayon. Due to the wonderful screen printing, this print will last in the wash and keep it’s vibrancy. The lyocell & cupro blend is a fabric with similar qualities to rayon. Cool and breezy in summer and easy to layer in winter. This patsy has a lovely drape but a nice amount of structure in the cut. Wear her with your favourite ankle boots and tights, layered in winter or with a pair of leather sandals in summer. We love Patsy with any of our cute cotton basics like the Sarah, Keyhole or our flutter tees. Or you can try mixing it up and pattern clashing with a print in a different scale or a nice texture. Longer length of the patsy will be great with our winter cardigans or tucked in tees, let the print speak for itself and team it with simple shapes and one of our amazing leather belts.

The Shelley Top is a lovely style we created as an easy basic which can be a versatile staple for work or weekends. We love good shapes in great prints here at made590 and this Shelley top is part of our Golden Apple range which combines both in limited edition runs.
Featuring a higher scooped neck with centre back seam, the Shelley top is a simple shape that oozes personality. The clean lines on this top are thanks to the facings around the neckline and sleeves which sit seamlessly and flat against your body. This gives Shelley a clean look and makes her the perfect canvas for our wonderful prints! She also works so well in the Lyocell and Cupro base we have chosen to make her in due to its drape and softness. Bust darts make for a perfect fit and a back seam allows us to add shaping without taking away from the room needed in the hips and tummy area. Side splits at the hem mean the top can be worn loosely and layered too. We have adjusted the hemline to be straight and the same length for versatility (Shelley used to feature a curved uneven hem back and front). We have all made sure she has enough length for the taller ladies who love this style!

This top is a great shape for work as it is semi-fitted at the bust, loose through the body and hugs you in all the right places. Looks wonderful teamed with one of our long sleeve basics under or wool cardigans over the top. Due to the loose fit Shelley works really well tucked into pants or high waisted skirts, but the drape of the Lyocell and Cupro works well worn untucked over a flat front skirt such as Kelly, Kenzie or Kylie. We love this shape for a dressy occasion where the prints can shine and be the focal point of the outfit. The length of shelley will work well on taller ladies, but not be too long on you if you’re smaller. You can even wear Shelley out with jeans and belt over the top of your layers with one of our excellent leather belts to create a high waist look!
