I’m slightly biased, but this has to be one of my favourite prints created by our very clever in-house graphic designer and illustrator, Kirbee Lawler. I think I say that about all of Kirbs’ print though : ) It features my most favourite colour palette together – pink and green, and reminds me of a mountainscape. Fuse nature with my favourite colours and you’ve got the perfect combination, I say! The inspiration for this new ‘alpine‘ print came from a tin Kirbee found in an antique store, whilst on a shopping trip with Kell. It’s also a nod to Wes Andersons’, ‘The Grand Budapest Hotel’ and the mountain scenes in this movie! We’ve released this as a mini range – check out below to see the iconic Made590 shapes and ways we’ve styled them!
The Alpine Adventure range is one we created in shapes that suit everyone! The Baby Bonnie is a great style to wear for those with a smaller waist as we go down to a XXS, which is the equivalent of an AUS 6. The three other styles of this print are all part of our Every Body range. Both the Jessie Dress and Valentina skirt come in a stretch sateen fabric which gives the dress a gorgeous ‘dressed up’ finishing touch. And the Jenny dress comes in a lovely heavy weight jersey fabric that drapes well and holds you in at the same time.
