We know you all love the cadet dress, so here is a new friend in the same family as the cadet, a stylish little shift called Milly, with cute usable pockets and paneled lines we think you’re going to love. We we inspired by the mod 60’s when designing this little lady, because they did love a good shift dress back then, and we still love one now. This dress is part of our Golden Apple Range, which means it’s made using lovely, high quality and versatile fabrics we have sourced for this particular style. We have designed this dress with work wear and smart casual events in mind. It’s subtle, it’s fun and it’s a little bit special!
The Milly Dress features cute capped sleeves that are great for layering and two angled deep pockets on the side of the skirt which hit at a flattering point on all shapes. We have added facings at the neckline, rather than a bind for a smooth finish all the way round. Paneling down the body which ends at the pockets to create a nice line down the front of the dress, without breaking up the lovely textures and patterns of the fabrics too much. She’s a sweet, simple little dress you could wear to work, to a wedding, with layers or without. The best thing about Milly is the stretch in the fabrics which means she also gets an A+ for her comfort factor. The length hits at the knee on most people, which is flattering to your legs and a great length if you choose to wear her with boots. A new favourite, sure to end up as your “go to” dress.
